On August 20th, 2024 Reamstown Fire Company, No. 1 and Smokestown Fire Company, No. 1 voted to merge and become Cocalico Area Fire Department. On June 9th, 2025 the founding meeting of Cocalico Area Fire Department was held. Our department is excited to continue the legacies of the Reamstown and Smokestown Fire Companies.
